The Story Behind This Card

A hare sits upright and perfectly still, ears raised, every fine line of fur rendered with the patient attention of a wood engraver who understood that stillness has its own drama. Printed in a cool, silvery grey, the image carries the quiet watchfulness of an animal that has learned to make itself part of the landscape — present, unhurried, alert. Inspired by the wood engraving tradition of Agnes Miller Parker, whose nature illustrations for the Gregynog Press and H.E. Bates brought the British countryside to life with spare, confident linework, this letterpress note card is for the correspondence that doesn't need to announce itself.

Six blank cards, sleeved with matching envelopes.
